SOME OF THE

Rejuvenates
old presses ( generally the first thing to give trouble are the dampers
)

trained more easily
Generally
faster drying (More consistency due to no emulsification)
Printing
on plastic without the problems caused by dampers

spoilage (Due to variations in ink-water balance)
No
gumming up of plates
More
consistent response to ink feed adjustment (No ink-water balance to change)
THE DISADVANTAGES
Plates
can be scratched more easily than litho plates, with care this is not a
problem. New plates with a much harder surface and Run lengths of
up to 1 million sheets are available.
Plates
cost 2-3 times the cost of litho plates.
Capital
outlay on plate processor. But plates can be made by hand.
Capital
outlay and energy cost of running a plate temperature control system. Advisable
for very long runs at high speeds.
Most frequently
asked question
"If the system
is that good why don't more printers us it"
Answer
We generally
find that most people who give up on the system do so because they received
little or on technical support. This is why we have opened the Waterless
Training Centre
